Business development manager

  • Create new Business independently by identify and acquire new large corporate customers directly for their 1st/mid/last mile surface transportation needs.
  • Develop B2B Business plans, long-term objectives and Sales pipeline.
  • Identify, Manage & Work with the Vendors and Operations team to set up an effective supply network to honour the services committed to Key Accounts.
  • Lead generation through various sources.
  • Solely responsible for account receivables within the agreed credit period to have a seamless cash flow.
  • Responsible for negotiation of all agreements, renewals and price revisions with existing & new customers as well as vendors.
  • Interface with senior management to provide the customer feedback and market intelligence based on interactions with the Customer.
  • Engage & retain clients with immediate escalation facilitation, regular visits & value delivery.
  • Responsible for revenue growth across company’s product offerings in the given territory

Required Skills:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in sales & Business Development in Logistics /Surface transportation Industry along with vendor management.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Self-motivated eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Able to analyse data and sales statistics & translate results to better solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, communication skills, ability to think out of the box.
  • Ability to multitask and manage different accounts at a time
